Ron Bell
One of Revell's later ship kits, this one is pretty good. it was re-released many times and even once as a British DE the HMS England. Fit is fine and detail is good. No molded in railings, but the stanchions are so you need to provide the railings. I did this 100% OOTB. I Like these old Revell ship kits. They put some fun bakk into modeling.
Stikpusher
That turned out beautifully! All you need is a similar scale U-Boat and you would have the pair from The Enemy Below. 😉
Ron Bell
Do you know where I can get a 1/249 scale Robert Mitchum?
Mark Deliduka
Ron that rocks! It's always a blast building these old kits straight from the box; what fantastic projects they can be! I love it!
Wilky
Good looking ship. However, the other release was the USS England DE 635, which was a Buckley class DE.
Ron Bell
Wilky, I think I said that in my initial post. In addition, apparently, it was also issued in Brazil with a Brazilian name and also it had a Taiwanese release with a Chinese name.
Wilky
You had said a British DE, HMS England. I didn't know about the Brazilian or Taiwanese releases.
