Well, it's finally finished. I started this project as a way of getting back into scale modeling, a hobby I enjoyed immensely as a young lad. There were some long breaks in between during the build while I read about new techniques and gathered information. Anyway, here it is warts and all. Feedback is welcome around all aspects of mod
el building.  I'm just getting back into this, am willing to learn and this activity is meant to be fun and relaxing. Cheers!

Wow, for someone who is just getting back into it after a long hiatus; I'd say you've lost none of your skills! This is better than I could do! I can't get over the realism!

Hi and thanks very much for the kind words!

I have to say the build component, which is typical for Bandai, wasn't much of challenge but Holy Schnikes, once I got started with the painting and weathering, I was really fascinated and learned so much. My current build is a throwback, Monogram's TBD-1 Devastator. Never tried to document a build before, but maybe I'll try it with this kit.

Gonna check out some of your work now.

Thanks again!

Nice! I like how it's weathered but not beaten to a pulp... 🙂
