Hi All,

Here is my version of MPC's 1/25th 1978 Dodge D100. I built it as a Northern Michigan beater that's still earning her keep as firewood hauler. Craft paints were used for the main colors, which was applied over Vallejo rust paints. Chipping was achieved with the salt technique as well as sanding through the paint. Toothpicks and needles were used to simulate finer scratches. Woodland Scenics driftwood logs cut into smaller sections make up the load of firewood.

Thank you for looking.

Cheers,

Albert

Is the wooden front bumper an option in the kit or scratch built add-on? Your rust holes in the body are very well done. Nice job!

Thank you, Michael. The front bumper was made from a scrap section of balsa wood. It was weathered, then photoetched bolt heads added to make it look like it was bolted to the frame.

Albert
