I did some RC aircraft building a number of years ago, and recently decided to get into model railroading as an activity with my grandson. Got distracted into building some basic cars and planes with him and helped him with his Pinewood Derby cars. Bought a Paasche H airbrush and learning to use it... recently completed an Estes rocket, and now getting more serious with a ‘65 Mustang kit. I get most of my supplies and models from Model Cave in Ypsilanti, a great place! Hoping to learn more through this forum.
jedge3 Posted August 12, 2019 Report Posted August 12, 2019 Welcome back Jim. Jon is a great source for items over at the ModelCave! Have you had a chance to check out the IPMS Willow Run Bomber Group? They meet the first Thursday of the month at the UAW Hall in Rawsonville.
