Hasegawa 1/32 Focke-Wulf FW-190A-8, Hans Dortenmann

1/32 Hasegawa Focke-Wulf FW-190A-8 built OOB, except for an Eduard PE seat harness.
AK Interactive acrylic paints, except for the RLM 74-it was a bit light, so I used Gunze-Sangyo.
The base is from Zoukie-Mura.
Weathered with oils.

I really managed to create myself a lot of problems with this simple, easy to build kit….so I’m happy that this one is behind me.

Fantastic looking Focke-Wulf! Your camo looks spot-on, and there's just enough color to spice up the gray scheme. Congrats, and thanks for posting!

Well James, you were so successful in beating this into submission that I can't see any issues anywhere! That is a spectacular model that is masterfully done. Way to go!

James,

That really looks awesome! How do you like the AK paints? I bought a couple of their washes and metallic shades at the Cleveland model show but haven't tried them yet.

Thank you everyone!

Hi Ken,

I really like them. I got 2 Luftwaffe sets in Cleveland that day, too (from John Bonnani).

I thinned it with distilled water, but that was too thin. So, I sprayed it straight, and it was perfect.

So.... a suitable substitute for Gunze Aqueous?

I guess they'll have to be lol.

I'm glad I tried them, theyre very good.
