jcorley Posted September 29, 2014 Report Share Posted September 29, 2014 I have been slowly working on a TF-9J I did the aft fuselage assembly and saw a few problems while test fitting it. I tried several approaches to assemble the back of the jet.I tried test fitting everything on the top half and seeing if it could be assemplde as a whole - didn't really want to stay together that way. I finally decided to trim down the tabs and glue it together per the instructions instead of pushing the parts together then bluing it all in place at once. Some seam work to fill, but overall it wasn't so bad. I've dealt with much worse (Hasegawa Tomcat, anybody?) This is the seam without anything but Ambroid on the parts.
