Zglossip Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 this is a old 1970 1:72 scale Heller Morane 230 it was a pretty easy build alot of pieces but not complicated it took me awhile to get this built because i have been working alot [ gota love work ! ] but here it is and i hope you guys like it .
Ron Bell Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 Nicely done. The Helller kits from that era were actually quite nice, especially given the "state of the art" at the time. The parts were finely detailed and the plastic quite thin. Plus the subjects were not covered by any other manufacturer.
ghodges Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 Nice one Z! The engine looks especially nice. Did you use a wash, or just detail painting? Congrats, and thanks for sharing! GIL
Zglossip Posted June 17, 2014 Author Report Posted June 17, 2014 Gil actually the engine I just painted black and drybrushed steel over it I have found that it is easy and can make a engine look really cool and realistic . glass you guys liked it your comments mean a lot.
Zglossip Posted June 18, 2014 Author Report Posted June 18, 2014 yes it is fragile the top wing fell off three times a real annoyance. thanks for the comments .
