ewahl Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Hi, Jim, Your fiddler looks very realistic in his old shabby clothes and long beard and hair. The dog looks great. I know how difficult it is to paint a white fur dog and have it come out looking like an animal rather than a plaster casting. Is the fiddle as sculpted? Meaning, did you try to add the "correct" number of strings? Four seems too few (but what do I know?). Your masonry bench has just the right touch of detail and color. Ed
JHockett Posted February 5, 2014 Author Report Posted February 5, 2014 Thanks for the comments, Ed. Four strings is indeed correct and it is as sculpted. The concrete is Apoxie Sculpt and the bench is carved plaster-of-Paris. Jim
