  1. A Sound of Thunder? Of course, I'm partial to Benders Big Score.... Futurama movie #1 and the best of the three so far.
  2. Hmm, earthbound spacesuits (maybe?) causing paranoia.... that narrows it down to just about every scifi film of the 50s! Don't forget to include just about half of those from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and now! And on an unrelated note: I've been reading about some upcoming SciFi films, and Ridley Scott wants to turn one of my alltime fav books into a movie - Joe Haldeman's Forever Wars!! I just hope the movie is made closer to the book than my most dissappointing fav book made yet, Starship Troopers. Apparently JMS wants to remake Forbidden Planet... it'll be hard to top.
  3. I had lurked for a long time, but then stareted to get the hang of it. Hopefully, you're not being cute and it is actually the 1981 Burl Ives blockbuster "Earthbound" or even the later David Hyde Pierce smash hit "Mating Habits Of The Earthbound Human" from 1999. Now for a guess.... "Teenagers from Outer Space" (fading echo: space.. space... space.... ) I don't really think it is, total longshot IMO, but it was a funny movie... attack of the lobstermen!! Zoidberg!!!!
  4. It looks like a cheap 50s space suit to me... that narrows it down! Let's try "Flight to Mars" as it was pretty corny and filled with five silver space suited actors for the "crossing" to the red planet.
  5. The Simpson's had most unusual time travel mode... "Time and Punishment" uses the toaster! By the way.... that is not a guess, but this is..... ARMY OF DARKNESS ASH kick Ash back in the 13th Century! Great Flick! Four thumbs up.
  6. Could that be Sean Connery?? Could the film be the oddly named ZARDOZ? A more horrorish adaptaion of the Morlock era of "The Time Machine"
  7. Ahh, but a wrong guess is a clue in and of itself. It does remove a possible subject from the candidates. FYI - both the Buck roger and Battlestar Galactica pilots were released as theatrical films, even here in the US. as for me...... Damnation Alley! It sorta looks like the inside of the super RV they drive to Albany.
  8. Love that poster, almost never see it anymore! Last swing at the bat - Marooned?
  9. I'll go to the well one more time and mention one of my all time favorites... Fantastic Voyage. I can see what looks like the outline of the fwd part of the ship model (or at half miniaturization) and the pilots bubble toward the center and perhaps even a hint of the fin at the right... all in the red circle. (BTW, I'll probably keep guessing FV until you post one if I think there's even the slightest chance!)
  10. Mike, I don't think so. look on the right side, you can see a man in a light colored shirt, his elbow, green pants with a black belt. The pants on STTMP didn't have belt loops IIRC. I'm thinking something with the look & feel of Apollo 13 - it sorta looks like a typical Hollywood version of the 60s or 70s govt installation. Along the lines of Apollo 13, here's a WAG: that 1975 classic Lloyd Bridges film "Stowaway to the Moon"
  11. looks a little like Steven Boyd, so I'll venture a guess..... Fantastic Voyage
  12. ABK (Aoshima) kit #4 - Kawanishi E15K1 Norma http://ww2photo.mimerswell.com/air/jap/kanish/e15k1.htm
  13. Papasmurf, You don't live in Gulf Breeze, do you? Better watch out.... the UFO nuts will be banging your door down!
  14. Garth, Som years back I bought the entire line of 1/144 Superscale military decals. In this line were two for Tomacats. All of these are $4 each plus postage. Check them out at: http://aaahobby.com/SSD.html
  15. According to John Burns, 60-80 in new condition. A search of eBay turns up none sold within the last 6 months (I think the completed listings are good for 6 months) - so perhaps you need to mosey on over to eBay and give it a try..... who knows, you might get enough to buy a tank of gas!
