ewahl Posted April 7, 2012 Report Share Posted April 7, 2012 Hi, Matt, This sounds like a challenging scratchbuilding project. How big do you plan to make this cube (or half cube against a mirror)? I saw a Star Trek display in San Diego several years ago that included the filming model of the Borg cube. The surface of that monster was made up primarily of bent, twisted, mangled photoetch frets. I do not recall seeing that much plastic sprue from kits as surface material. And then, what color do you paint it? Welcome aboard. I love sci-fi stuff, too.
