Might anyone out there have a good drawing of how the P-26A Peashooter was rigged?

Thanks,

Tim, for starters, go to the web and download the website on the Hasegawa 1/32" P-26 Peashooter. There are some good photos of it to start with. There is also a plethora of books out there on the P-26, if you desire to purchase more material, but if you just need to rig the plane, those photos on the web should do the trick. Happy Modeling,

WHat you should see when you look at the pics and diagrams is:

1) on top of each wing: 1 set of lines parallel and another single wire (3 total) that run in a "V" from the outer wing to the fuselage. Note also that there are spacer bars that need to be added to each set of wires.

2) the same arrangement on each wing bottom, also with spacer bars...BUT, they run into aerodynamic fairings on the outer edge of each wheel pant, and there are 4 wires instead of 3 (2 parallel sets).

3) A double "X" arrangement of wires between the wheel pants that run from the fuselage bottom to smaller fairings on the inside of each pant.

Like this:

And this:

Some P-26s have antenna wires from the rudder post to the fuselage antenna, others run the wire to the wing tip, and some have no wire antenna at all.

Hope this helps!
