ghodges Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 A brilliantly paintied piece of a true hero who fought for the wrong side! What did you use for the brass buttons? I've had trouble getting that "look" simpy using Testors enamel brass paint. GIL
Kjundude1 Posted January 22, 2012 Author Report Posted January 22, 2012 Thanks Gil. I use Vallejo acrylics. To get this effect, I base coat with brass and a dab of black. I add another small dab of black and do the rings of the buttons and the undersides. The top highlights of the buttons are brass and oily steel mix. Chris
