This is an old kit from ARII, going back to the mid-80's. It bears a resemblance to an alligator head with a turtle body. The model is quite small, measuring only about 5 inches, nose to tail, but has sufficient surface detail to allow a "wash" to pop out the panel lines, doors, hatches, and other what-have-you's. The base coat was Tamiya XF-26 Deep Green with shading between airbrushed with XF-27 Black Green. The seams, panel lines, and engraved detail were "washed" using Vallejo 73201. Some highlighting along edges and on various panels was done using USA Uniform 922.

Those of you who continue to build kits I've never heard of, let alone seen, simply amaze me. Stellar work, Dick, on another obscure subject. I enjoyed it.
