I bought the 1/32nd Airfix Aston Martin DBR9 kit the other day and was wondering if anyone made aftermarket decals for this puppy? I really don't want to do it in Gulf markings from Le Mans but would prefeer any ALMS car, preferably the Dryson car from three years ago. I checked Grand Prix Models and Studio 27, but nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tim,

With the Airfix 1:32 Aston Martin, you need to look in the slot car realm.

I have never dealt with this person and I see others have had issues with their decals (in the past) but it may be worth a try

considering you are looking for something besides the Gulf livery.

When you go to the home page, you'll see 'Decals' on the left side by number or alphabetical.

Go to 'A' and scroll down about half way to two-thirds.

There are a fair amount of different Aston Martin decals available.

As Eric said, I don't believe that anyone made decals for this car.

I checked Hobby Link Japan and Hiro Boy...

HLJ just sells the kit and Hiro Boy doesn't even offer that.

If HLJ doesn't have anything, especially since they carry 'Tabu', it isn't made.

Tim,

You might want to pose it over on Britmodeler! Last year they were saying they thought some was going to release 6 different decal sheets for it.The word was that Renaissance MIGHT do some.

Kevin,

Thanks. I've looked at what they have and one version is OK, but would like ALMS. So I have contacted them to see if they'd do the Drayson Racing version from Sebring '09. I told him that I could help with photos.

Mark,

I'll try Britmodeler next. Thanks bud, you always rock.

Timmy
