TimHortman Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Here's my most recent finished build. Can't say when it was started, but it was several years ago. Hasegawa 1/48 Ki-44 II Otsu built OOB Markings are for the 3rd Chutai 70th Sentai from Anshan Airfield, Manchukuo September 1944
adfogel Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 Very sharp, Tim...did you paint the white or was that decals? Later, Lee
DennisTennant Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 Goodness, Tim, you've really been crankin' out the models lately! The Duke's got competition...
TimHortman Posted April 26, 2010 Author Report Posted April 26, 2010 Thanks Guys! Lee - the white and yellow was painted. I went with decals for the Hinamaru's but would paint them if I did another one. The only decal I "should" have used was the one for the tail - and if I were thinking ahead a little more, I would have masked that and painted it too! (I am starting to really hate decals!) Dennis - Thanks! Let's not get too carried away. This is only the third thing done this year, and just because I post everything on the same day doesn't mean too much...
adfogel Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 A very splendid job on the white (and yellow), sir. Thanks for lett me know. later, Lee
