Ron Bell Posted May 18, 2025 Report Posted May 18, 2025 This is the last one of the Aurora knights that most people remember and/or had. The fifth is the Golden Knight of Nice which was the only mounted one, was not around long and now goes for stupid money. If I can find one at a reasonable price, I'll get it just to complete the set. Until then, it's the four knights of wherever. 1
VMF211 Posted May 21, 2025 Report Posted May 21, 2025 Great job Ron. What colors/paints/washes did you use on the bird? It looks awesome!!
Ron Bell Posted May 22, 2025 Author Report Posted May 22, 2025 The eagle was done with Tamiya Gold rattle can paint with a multi coat heavy watercolor wash that was then wiped down with a damp Q-Tip to take it off the high places. It turned out much better than i thought it would. 1
Roktman Posted May 22, 2025 Report Posted May 22, 2025 Excellent job! I do remember seeing them (but not having 'em) Coincidentally, a guy in my local club showed up at a recent meeting with the silver Knight. These guys are seemingly making a comeback? 😉
Ron Bell Posted May 22, 2025 Author Report Posted May 22, 2025 Atlantis has re-issued the Silver and Black knights. That's how I got mine.
