AP40rocktruck Posted June 19, 2024 Report Posted June 19, 2024 Greetings all, I have a built up 1/32-ish scale WW2 Curtis P-40E, that I originally built in the early 70's. The box and such are long gone, it has been repainted and repaired multiple times over the years. Does anyone have a memory or recollection as to the maker of the kit? Long shot I know, but the kit has the highest level of sentimental value and although I don't build the subject matter anymore I would still like to know who the manufacture was! Any kit historians here?? Cheers, Rick
Ron Bell Posted June 19, 2024 Report Posted June 19, 2024 Hasagawa, Hobbycraft and Revell all did 1/32 P-40's. However the Hasagawa and Hobbycraft ones all came after 2000, so built in the early 70's it's probably the Revell one. Go on Scalemates and search Revell 1/32 P-40 and you'll see all the releases, and there were many. 1
