I have several aircraft kits that include seated pilots that I would like to enter in the out of box category. If I don't use the pilot, can I be disqualified? I asked this at another modeling site with no clear answer, kinda like "definitely maybe". Can anyone help? Thanks, Jerry A.
RGronovius Posted January 11, 2018 Report Posted January 11, 2018 The pilot is an optional part. Sort of like if your kit comes with bombs, missiles or drop tanks. Obviously, some versions use one or the other, but none use all and the extra optional parts stay in the box.
Rusty White Posted January 11, 2018 Report Posted January 11, 2018 Correct RGronovius. Many kits provide extra parts that don't pertain to the kit to be included with future planned kits by manufacturers.
