TimHortman Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 All, Here's another project that I finished up a short time ago. Hasegawa 1/48 J2M6 Raiden "Jack" built OOB.
ghodges Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Neat Jack Tim.....or would it be Tim, nice Jack!? At least it's not Jack-nice Jack! I like the way you kept the chipping on the more subtle side (compared to a lot of Raidens). What method did you use? GIL
TimHortman Posted April 29, 2009 Author Report Posted April 29, 2009 Thanks Gil, I'm actually still "experimenting" with some different weathering techniques. This one is a panel line wash with some artist's pencil (silver) in a few spots.
Wulf Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 Nice work there. One of my fav IJA planes Andy

Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 Old.........I feel 82 today....hard day.........yesterday was 35ish thou :) Timmy............are you using the silver pencil for the chips?
TimHortman Posted May 1, 2009 Author Report Posted May 1, 2009 Yep - using a "Prismacolor" silver artist pencil for some of the lines. I have a few other things to try, but the pencil is quick and easy (as long as it has a nice sharp tip). Thanks for the kind words all.
