CarlHank Posted May 2, 2013 Report Posted May 2, 2013 Greetings! I'm Carl H. Knoch from Clovis, CA, and a member of Fresno Scale Modelers, which places me in Region 9. I mostly do aircraft, leaning towards the "what if" side of things. I'm currently working on a 1/48 Canberra with the armanent suite from an F-89 Scorpion. In the near future I hope to start a ski-equipped 1/48 C-130 from the NY ANG. That unit is unique in having tested on their Herkys the 8-bladed props from the E-2 Hawkeye 2000. So, if you members have any leads on a source for those props, I'd appreciate hearing from you, or to discuss your needs, tips, solutions, etc.
ghodges Posted May 2, 2013 Report Posted May 2, 2013 Welcome Carl! Google Quickboost to see if they made resin replacement scimitar props for the Hawkeye. I know they make resin replacements for the regular 4 bladed version. Look forward to seeing your work here on the DF! GIL
