Eric Aitala Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Hey, Any chance of turning on the RSS feeds for the Forum. I think the new software has it available. Thanks, Eric
Eric Aitala Posted July 17, 2008 Author Report Posted July 17, 2008 No problem... just wanted to check.. Eric Eric, No, not at this time. I would have to install and test additional software which may or may not be compatible with IPBoard, and because we're on a shared host, I'm a little concerned about bandwidth (not to mention security). I also still have too many other repair tasks to perform on the website to restore functions to other areas. I just don't have the time right now for non-essential features.
TimHortman Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 Err, Not to sound too much like a dolt - what's an RSS feed & what does it do? (nope - I don't get out much)
TimHortman Posted August 3, 2008 Report Posted August 3, 2008 Thanks Bob! Now I see why I don't know what that is...
David M. Knights Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 I use Google's RSS feed as well. Works well.
Eric Aitala Posted August 4, 2008 Author Report Posted August 4, 2008 I wish other model manufacturers would do things like RSS feeds, blogs, etc... if they really want to attract the younger crowd, they need to step into the 21st century. Otherwise they are in serious trouble, Eric I use Google's customizable Homepage....including an RSS feed from Dragon Models USA!
JimFox Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 I use Hobby Link Japan for RSS feeds for my club website......have them separated by category. AIR, ARMOR, AUTO http://www.ipmskalamazoo.org - Lower Right Side Can't seem to get the RSS from Dragon going, my News Headline module doesn't like their RSS feed.
