  1. Not sure if Trumpeter uses vinyl, plastic or what on their track, but it is the last time I attempt to use their track period. The paint doesn't stick and these were NEVER designed to fit around the idler and sprocket without bowing. I purchased Master Class PT-76 track and they were not what I expected but will use those if my LHS doesn't have the new Fruilmodel ATL97 PT-76 track. Regardless....I am now stuck waiting on track.
  2. AC, Here is the link. It is still young as it was only started about a month ago. I will add to it as I find more stuff. http://www.freewebs.com/mewsig/
  3. AC, Email sent and dieing to see the photo. I have actually started a Middle East War Sig with a website. So this one will probably be added to it as well. Mark
  4. VERY true but it is hard for me to choke down a $20 fix for Legend Centurion roadwheels after paying $46.00 for the kit.
  5. Hey, Rubber tires bite. I can not believe AFV Club included them in their Centurion kits....especially the way they were designed. Part of the metal wheel in on the rubber. Gimmick or not, they should have been made out of plastic.
  6. You should go for the Testors Aztek 430 airbrush. These are completely a great airbrush!
  7. Frank, They are not....or at least mine are not. The connections at the airbrush are different.
  8. Tim, Excellent use of the peanut butter jar lid as a base. We have a modeler that works in braille scale and uses them also. In 1/35 they are good for like a jeep, Daimler, and maybe a motorcycle so I have a few stashed away. I have always loved the Dodge ambulance. You did a great job. Mark
  9. Mark, That's the way it is. I have 4 near completed kits and two that are in the assembly stages. I always fear that I will forget something that needs to be added. I always leave a not sheet in the box so I don't forget anymore.
  10. Been using Xuron for years.
  11. WHOA..... Now the Bu*&sh#t flag comes out. You are definitely doing stop motion photography. I know all those HUMMWVs are the same kit and you are just using a camouflaged mask to make it look like more the one......HAHA your plan is foiled Virtuoso of Miniatures. Now everyone will know you are a fraud. Dude, Those look great and I am jealous that you can knock them out that quick!! Mark
  12. Richard, Had this posted under the wants and disposals. Not sure how you are with EBAY but there are currently two selling on EBAY. There is a AMT/ERTL and ESCI which also comes with a Microscale decal sheet. Mark
  13. Four!!!! Are you kidding me???? It has got to be the braille scale thing. Slight of hand....mirrors.....keep the audience occupied while you quickly add features to a base vehicle.... I am lucky if I can knock out one in a couple months......They all look great by the way. Keep up the great work!!!
  14. Tigers and Lions and bears....Oh My!!!! Wait....those are all Football teams!!! HaHa. Very nice looking Panzer VI. Keep up the great work!!!
  15. Great.......something else the money manager can get upset about. You guys are gonna kill me.
  16. I finally got permission to post on Missing-Lynx and the answers are the same. I still think this is not a normal turret. If the undercut was there, there would not be the noticeable shadow below it. Of course, this is probably the ONLY photo and angle of this particular vehicle.
  17. I have shots of some panzer IVs. No IIIs however. Also a few of the Stug IIIs as well. I have one Hummel and I do not believe France ever sold any of the Panthers they had. Steven Zaloga and Mouse House state that Syria purchased 20-40 (depending on book) Panzer IVs and IIIs from France and Czechoslovakia.
  18. Hey You need to send me your address so I can get this out with todays mail!!!!! Mark
  19. Adam, Doubtful but trying. One would think there would be a website dedicated to the obscure but I have yet to find it. Mark
  20. OK all, Besides the ONE photo in TANK BATTLES OF THE MIDDLE EAST WARS(1), does anyone have photos of the 5 Hummels they used? Mark
  21. Sent you a message. Read and I can hook you up!
  22. OK fellow tread heads, lets test your Panzer III knowledge. I figure if I throw this out someone will know or have an educated guess. Below are three Panzer three photos. The third is untouched and the other two are marked for someone to explain to me the missing triangular undercut that (as far as I knew) was common on ALL Panzer III and IV turrets. Any and all help and guesses are greatly appreciated.
  23. I found out that 777 is the short barreled 109. When I get home, I will pull out the instructions. Just let me know what you want me to do with them. Mark
  24. SEND me an message and I can scan and send you the instructions for ANY of the M109 kits except the Paladin. Mark
  25. Hello all, After spending countless hours on the internet and leafing through my collections, I need to know if anyone out there has or has seen good interior shots of a WWII up armored jeep? I have seen the ones from the VICTORY MUSEUM and I am sure that Dragon did not use this vehicle as their test shot. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Mark
