RGronovius Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 This was a kit I recall buying at Walmart many years ago. Basically a black wedge shaped steath craft. I remember letting one of my sons (now in their 20s) start it, but they never finished it. I dug it out of a box of unfinished kits and figured I may give it a go just to get it built. It looks like I'll have to do some deconstruction because the engine pods look like they were glued out of alignment.
WildBill50 Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 Hi Rob, I built that kit years ago. It's pretty cool looking when finished. The decals stink though, as they are all dots. I used PollyS "dust" for a wash to look like dried salt water. If it wasn't for the decals; pretty nice. Overall fir OK, some putty needed on the bottom seams. Bill
WildBill50 Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Rob, Here are a few shots of the Sea Shadaow. BTW..the real one was for sale if you might be interested. Just saying.
glweeks Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Am I crazy or do the foreward parts of the "pontoons" kinda look like RPG-7 rounds w/launcher? head on view. gl weeks
RGronovius Posted September 23, 2012 Author Report Posted September 23, 2012 It is just such an interesting vessel; a ship that builds like a submarine.
