Hey all.

Happy New Year! Here is a post reviewing all my work on aircraft in 2008. Feel free after this to also check my similar thread in the Armor Forum showing all my Armor as well. In addition to that, I have also posted in the Cars, Trucks, & Motorcycles Forums a pic of my only civilian and only large scale model I built in 2008. Feel free to check it out as well.

Although this isn't an actual aircraft, I'm posting this here since it is associated with aircraft and there is no "Miscellaneous/Buildings" Forums for posting this type of model. So, my first model completed in 2008 is the Airfix 1/72 scale Airfield Control Tower:

Now on to the aircraft:

And that completes my list of Aircraft for 2008. Thanks all for looking and all comments are welcome.

Enjoy the airshow! After that, feel free to go check out my parade of armor in the Armor Forum.

You're killing me! Sometimes I'll look at a kit for a month before I even start building it. Three months later I'll put the started kit in a box and start looking at another one. You guys who are so prolific should get together and write a book on how to do it. (I know, just do it!) I wish. . .

Anyway, more great work and thanks for sharing the images.

Thanks Mike!

One thing that might help, is that when you take down a kit to look at it, read the instructions. Then try putting as couple of pieces together. Do this right away, and then if you're anything like me, you will just want to keep going. Before you know it, you've already gotten a lot more done than you thought.

As for the models in the boxes, pull one down and look at it. The look at the instructions and see where you left off. Then try the next step. Eventually it'll get the juices flowing.

Looking at others' work also helps motivate me, along with positive comments about my work. The more positive comments I get, the more motivated I am to build and the more I get built. I didn't getmuch this past year; that's partially why I only finished 45 models instead of my usual 65-70.

Mike, thanks again for your great comments.

Cool stuff! Forgot how much I enjoyed the Hawker Demon. Built one of those that I was happy with, but the rigging has sagged and self-destructed over time. Maybe it's worth it to re-rig, after all. Like that control tower too. It's also calling from the stash.

Got an extra Kingfisher you'd like to trade? :)

Thanks Von. I appreciate it. As for the Kingfisher, I wish I had. I only have the one and I got it for $2.00 at my club's Distressed Kit Auction.

Thanks again for posting
