WildBill50 Posted February 26, 2012 Report Share Posted February 26, 2012 Here are a couple of pictures of my Hasegawa F-8E done up with the 2011 IPMS decals. I added some AGM 12C Bullbups from the Hasegawa Aircraft weapons set : B. I know that the F-8 never used these in combat but this is what the F-8E model was designed for. They look pretty cool on the finished model. This plane was set up for the ground attack mission using the Bullpups and the 8 Zunis. The kit was pretty much built OOB after the missiles and decal sheet, I used a True Details bang seat. FYI.. the decal placement sheet for the star and bar for the wings is incorrect. The placement should be out all the way on the wingtip not over the wingfold. If you look in the old "Squadron F-8 Crusader In Action"; there are pictures of the wing top of this squadron. It is also shown right on the cover. Of course I saw it too late as I had the book staring up at me about 18 inches away (why look at it, when it's right there). Anyway done is done.
