I have a fellow modeler that is looking for a old airplane article that was written by our club's namesake. It is about finishing Natural Metal aircraft using laquers and aluminum powders. He believes it was in a IPMS update or Quarterly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
ghodges Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 I almost remember the article you're talking about, and the modeler from the great NW who does such awesome NMF work (and scribes the model AFTER applying the NMF!!). However, as I recall, the article may have been in FSM, and not in an IPMS pub. Have y'll checked the FSM archives? Might do that in addition to trying the IPMS angle. Best of luck! GIL
