I'm building this on as part of an Indy 500 CBP on another forum. It's been a long time since I built a 69 Camaro and they're my favorite car! :smiley4:

Well, not much, but some progress. The body's painted white, the interior's mostly orange minus what will be black carpet, and the chassis's painted with the tank masked & painted as well. I've been slowly toodling on the engine, but slow going for sure.

I got the interior finished tonight including a dull coat over the hounds tooth decals to try make it look like cloth. Also got the body foiled. I have to paint the top of the windshield brace aluminum yet.

makin' it look easy!

Thanks. This is my first go with official "Bare Metal Foil" as opposed to the Testors stuff I normally use. Man, I'm never going back.

Well, she's all wrapped up. The decals were a bit problematic due to age or what not, but I managed them.

Looks better than the one in the Indianapolis speedway museum. They have a model display with every pace car to lap the track. kind of cool if you've never been.

Very nice. Saw one of these last year in of all places Downtown Disney just outside Disneyland. There were several 70s era muscle cars on display including one of these. The couple who brought it were the original owners as I recall. Its something you'd leave in your will. Well done. I really like the extras under the hood. Adds a lot.
