VMF211 Posted October 9, 2025 Report Posted October 9, 2025 Finally decided to build another one of these. Built two back in 1981 or so. Didn't have a cool resin interior to use back then!! Used Starfighters interior along with their USMC decal set. Transparent sewing thread painted with Vallejo Chrome (GOOD stuff) for the rigging. Tamiya lacquers for the grey and yellow and Model Master insignia blue for the cowl (it's all I had). The only problem I had was with the decals as Starfighter had the tail stripes in the wrong order. so the rudder had to be painted. Of course I noticed that AFTER the kit was together....UGH. Still a fun kit after all these years. 1
