The next AMPS Boresight has returned from the printer and is being prepped for mailing any day now. A large part of this issue is a report on AMPS 2009 and the winners list. Also there are build articles on Trumpeter's WR360 locomotive and Dragon's 1:72 M4A1(76) Sherman. The reference feature has photos of the U.S. Army M1078 Cargo truck, hopefully useful for those building the Trumpeter kit.

You'll see a new layout, and although still a b&w publication (except the covers), efforts have been made to improve the photo quality. More enhancements will be forthcoming. I'm acutely aware that issues are behind schedule, and fixing that is one of my top goals. However, we still depend on the AMPS membership to contribute material for Boresight, and the more we have, the sooner Boresight gets published. Please consider writing for the society or approaching a cohort to do so.

So I hope you enjoy the improvements and will help me make Boresight even better. I am always open for communication about Boresight. Just visit the AMPS website at amps-armor.org, and select "Boresight" in the navigation menu, then "Contact the editor." Alternatively, you can email directly to: john.robinson@amps-armor.org

Sincerely,

John Robinson

John,

Two articles previously published in our club publication, Tactical Notes, were subsequently submitted and printed in Boresight. I'll add you to our distribution list and please feel free to use articles from future issues or contact me if you want an article in its original format.
