For those of us of advanced age (!), reading the small print or seeing small details can be a problem. Magnifier Flash turns your iPhone into a magnifying glass that allows you to zoom an image up to 6x, illuminate it with the iPhone's built-in flashlight, and save the image for reference. You can find it at the App Store.

There is also a Magnifier setting in the Accessibility section and a Magnifying widget for the Command Center.  Both are part of iOS 11.

My friend Dave showed me an app he has on his phone. It's a translator app. You open the app and it looks like a camera. you choose what language you want to translate from and to. When you aim it at the text you want translated, it brings up the translated text right there on the screen. So cool!
