Privateer1533 Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 Being a helo guy I'd love to see these in 1/48th scale: HH-3 (USAF and USCG versions) CH-54A/B H-37 (US Army and USMC versions) HH-52 Guardian AH-1G (new tool) OH-6A (new tool) Academy has given us some good kits of bigger birds (CH-46,CH-53) so maybe we can talk them into a few of these. Thoughts?
SkyKing Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 I'd like to see: HH-52 S-61L/NBell 47J All in The One True Scale (1/72) 1
MikeOberholtzer Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 Ditto on the 1/48 OH-6A, H-37 and CH-54 (that would be a big one!). In addition, how about: H-19 new tool HUP1/2 (H-25) new tool HO3S new tool AH-56 Cheyenne
Privateer1533 Posted August 27, 2017 Author Report Posted August 27, 2017 (edited) Ditto on the 1/48 OH-6A, H-37 and CH-54 (that would be a big one!). In addition, how about: H-19 new tool HUP1/2 (H-25) new tool HO3S new tool AH-56 Cheyenne I'd be on board with all of those as well. A new tool H-19 from Gallery like their H-34's would be nice to have. Edited August 27, 2017 by Privateer1533
Glaaar Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 A-129 Mangusta CBT / A129 ATAK. M197 nose cannon, new engines, new primary FLIR turret, 5 blade main rotors and Hellfire or UMTAS missiles. The Italeri kit is a beautiful model but is the 1980s configuration with TOW. Everything you might want to know about the A-129 upgrade... https://thaimilitaryandasianregion.wordpress.com/2016/02/10/t129-attack-helicopter-turkey/
Wolfman63 Posted February 12, 2018 Report Posted February 12, 2018 I would really like to see a 1/48 scale CH-54 Tarhe (Sky Crane) I have always like the Sky Crane's ever since I saw a few in action when I was a kid.
rcboater Posted April 17, 2018 Report Posted April 17, 2018 Another vote for the HH-52 in 1/72. (There is a $50 resin kit, but it would be nice to see one in styrene!)
EdR Posted July 22, 2019 Report Posted July 22, 2019 I'll support Privateer1533's wish for 1/48 scale kits of the HH-3 (USAF and USCG versions) and a CH-54A/B. I might add a decent CH/HH-53 (Air Force version) to that list.
