Rick, have some compassion. Sometimes, when two battleships, uh, "meet," their little bundle of steel has.... developmental issues.

Forget that! They are also releasing a 1/350 Tsarevitch! Now I can die! Nick Filippone

Not till after you've built it!

Nick, the gauntlet has been thrown down! :smiley2::smiley20:

Merry Christmas to you too, and I do hope to see your completed model someday!

Is the second picture the Russian battleship Tsesarevich? I hope so!

How is the shape on that monitor? (now that some time has passed)

Trumpeter's supposedly "sound" Essex class was so far off on the bow, I'm still rolling my eyes at the perspective of anything they might do... I'm staying away from them almost no matter what by now...

Really? I have a Trumpy Essex stashed away until I (a) get the space and (b) the Pontos set. Is it just the hull or the whole damn profile? I may waterline her.

Trumpeter is in the business of vomiting out halfway decent designs that their competitors are trying to release. Thankfully, there are some smaller upstarts that are making life a wee bit more difficult in the ship department...

Trumpeter is releasing the World War 2 HMS Abercrombie, in 1/350:

It. Has. Rails.

Fine. Where's the rest of the ship?

Half a battleship?

At the risk of showing my age...it's like the old AMC Gremlin commercial, "Hey Mista, where the rest of your car?"
