Lloyd International. We're really excited about this! Round 2 now has a comprehensive line of model kit tooling with just about every kind of subject you can think of! Whether you like building ships,planes, figures, cars and trucks or even sci-fi rockets to Mars, these additional lines will have something for you. With Round 2's attention to detail and a knack for recreating exciting vintage packaging, future reissuesand new kits will be irresistible!We've checked out all the tooling that was purchased and as you may know, some of the models within thearchives of these two brands actually originated at other companies. While we were going through it all, we discovered several kit tools that have not been used in several decades, and parts inserts to make portions of others. You can be assured that we will be working towards reissuing these kits in the future, as well as developing new parts or entire new versions of existing kits. We've already got a couple cookin'!The Kats at AMT are also extremely stoked about the purchase as it's going to let them put a very notable kit back into the AMT tooling banks: the 1934 Ford pickup! This awesome model, first released in the early 1960s, featured several building options over the years; a stake bed, a tow-truck and of course, stock and custom versions. Legend has it, the tool was sent back to the tool shop, perhaps for repair. Then, due to various circumstances, it ended up staying there until it was later acquired by the folks at Lindberg. You've probably seen the various Lindberg reissues of the kit, which are pretty cool. However, you can expect to enjoy an AMT Retro Deluxe™ reintroduction of the kit in the future, with original parts, decals and packaging that will take you back to the glory days of modeling!
