Thanks for all the great info.

I'm also finding inspection hatches that don't appear on any drawings as well.

I just noticed that I was in error because the light fixture is on the wing root fillet correctly on the model, but, I cannot find any drawings showing the two fixtures on the model. Still very curious....

Starting a new project and noticed something weird.....The positioning of the underside light fixture is on the left side of the model......every scale drawing I can find shows it to be a single light on the RIGHT side of the aircraft. I am surprised that Hasegawa would make this kind of error. Anyone with any information regarding this , please pass it along to me. It has got me really curious.

Just got back to the modeling bench. Started this one before we left on vacation. 37 days later we got back from a western U.S. (9 states) RV trip. I was desperate for a modeling fix! Glad S.H. came out with this kit. Much better than the Williams Bros kit. Definitely a unique aircraft. It was a leap forward in design in its day.

Thank you all!

Has anyone had problems with Alclad gloss black base not wanting to cure fully? Lately it seems like it won't cure, and wants to stay sticky to the touch as well as not being able to sand without packing up on the sandpaper. Not fun! Please let me know if there is anything I can do or should I just trash it and buy new?

Thank you very much

Hi, I have an MPM 1/48 Pe-2 kit I would love to build. A little problem, the vacuum formed canopy has "yellowed".... What should I do? Thanks in advance for your input Fred

Thanks Eric, I appreciate the input. I've ordered some of the Lacq. paint in bottles to try them out. I'll post an opinion down the road.
