  1. You are right, Ron. Additional Internet searching reveled that Revell reboxed the late 1970s Italeari kit and sold it in the early 1980s. I might be able to find one on eBay, but I'd like to see a new kit from Tamiya or Hasegawa or the like. Thanks for the find.
  2. How about a 1/48 or 1/72 WACO CG-4A glider as used in WWII. I've seen the British Horsa in 1/72, but not the WACO.
  3. All my plane models are in 1/48. I really try not to duplicate models and have succeeded with the exception of one plane. Something comes over my when I see a P-51 Mustang. I have built 6. Is it a phenomenon or mental weakness?
  4. Nice work on some very interesting aircraft. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Adam, I think this Stearman-Hammond has some possible connection as a predecessor to the Fokker F.25 Promoter. Look at this web site and you'll see the "family resemblance". http://library.thinkquest.org/C002752/fokker.cgi?page=db/f25 You might have better luck finding the Fokker model than a Stearman-Hammond model. I hope it helps in your search. Good luck.
  6. Nice model! The paint job is very well done. The panel lines don't over power the the over-all look of the finish.
  7. The topic is "What I'm Working On". So, here's what I'm working on. The closest to being done is an Accurate Miniature SBD for a group build. I just need to add the decals and do some weathering. I'm also building a 1970 Dodge Challenger. Just working on the engine detail now. Then there is a B-17 way in the back that's not been touched in a year, so I won't count in as "in progress". It's in a state of suspended animation.
  8. WOW, Gil! And I thought I had problems with an early Accurate Miniatures SBD. A very nice bit of modeling. Truly a silk purse from a sow's ear.
