I just completed the bust That the Atlanta Club was selling. It is painted with Vallejo. Comments always welcome.

I like it. Even though he's "nothin' but a one-eyed fat man". Now you need to find Ned Pepper.

Nice work! Any tips on using Vallejo paint over oil or acrylic? I am not happy with the latter two paints used on resin, they tend to rub off unless I seal with a heavy coat of laq clear coat.

Thanks Arthur. Vallejo paints are acrylics. I agree with you about rubbing off. The key is to use a sealer like dullcoat, and don't touch the figure once completed. Handle by the base only.

Hey Chris, as usual, that looks really nice! I really like the beat up hat and the beard.

 

And I'd agree with you, Vallejo is a pretty delicate paint. Besides minimum contact, the other key to Vallejo seems to be a good primer.
