Is there a resin body available for a '68 Ford XL convertible?

David,

I don't believe one has every been made. I checked the two main 'resin houses' for this type of car and neither offer it in their lineup. The two were the Modelhaus and Model Car World Automotive Finishes. I couldn't even find a dealer promo listed anywhere though I might not have looked in the right spots.

I believe AMT made a 1967 Ford Galaxie but you would need to do a lot of scratchbuilding to make it into the body style you seek.

Sorry I don't have better news. Maybe someone else will chime in on the subject...

I went to STAR Models and in the RESIN section....R&R has a 68 Hrdtp LTD...at $53.00 plus shipping. A person could always convert it into a convertible. I also looked on EBAY in the Promo section to see if anyone was selling one. Two where found and both where Hardtops....and a little spendy. Soo..the convertible (if made) is going to be hard to find. But... you do have some options available. Hope this helps you in you search.... (click on the link)...
