Older 1/48 Tamiya F-4F Wildcat Kit

The “nothing special” run-of-the-mill simple Tamiya Wildcat. This was my first attempt at multi-layered chipping which is a 9 step process (or at least my method is).

Wonderful looking Wildcat! The weathering looks as if it would be right at home on Henderson field on Guadalcanal. And your post is right where it should be.... the "builds" section is really more for works in progress while this section is more for completed builds. Thanks for sharing!

THAT is nice!! Great job!!! The Tamiya kit, after all these years, is still a pretty nice kit.
