Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Found a Candidate :) I'll have plenty of left over parts too!!!!
Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 A lot of the Weld seam's need to be redone............I'm using plastic strip, melted with TESTORS Glue and a new #11 blade for this. The bottom of the noise was redone too. I'm also going to use a little bit of plastic to raise the hull/chasis a bit. This is looking very intimidating.
Mark Aldrich Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Jack, If you are using Dragons kit as your base, they say you almost have to raise the upper hull 1.8mm to make it look accurate. Mark
Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Yup.......that's what I'm doing as I type :) It's coming out better than I thought. Dunno if it will be done for K-Zoo...........but maybe Cincy............or O'Hare.............or Indy..........who knows. :)
Mark Aldrich Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 You gonna do it as a Russian?
Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Yes.............I like the one pic with the number on the bow. It will be NASTY looking :)
Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...l%3Den%26sa%3DG Did one!!!
Mark Aldrich Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I like the white stripes around the turret. Looked real neat on the T-34/85 Bedspring from Dragon.
Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 The Build is done.........REALLY nasty looking!!! Friul Tracks are next :) Got them for $20 in K-Zoo........it was soooo dark in there I think Bin-Laden sold them to me :)
Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 I actually had time to finish both track runs. It might make it's debut in Warner Robins next week!!! But the Fuel cells need work..............break out the foil and sprue. That IDF F-4E keeps staring at me........calling my name............Time to break out the turn table and the HORSELIPS Album :)
Mark Aldrich Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 When we gonna see???.....inquiring minds want to know.
Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 I'll have done for Cincy in a few weeks.......just Flat Blacked it this afternoon........Fuel Cell came out good. I'm adding some scratch rear side fenders............all while starting a Jagdpanzer ZW.
Guest Bun E. Carlos Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 Well...............didn't have the time to get everything done that I wanted to it, but finished it in time for the Cincy Show and it took a First in a 123 Event. Mr. Knights tooks a couple of pics and if he would be so kind to post one, that would be cool. I also picked up the TRUMPETER T-62 too.........already started it :)
