noelsmith Posted June 28, 2020 Report Posted June 28, 2020 (edited) Apart from the Airfix Bugatti Veyron snap kit more like Lego and a similar Airfix Chiron on its way in 1/24 sca!e no one else has kitted these great supercars with proper plastic kits. noelsmith Posted October 11, 2021 Author Report Posted October 11, 2021 The Alpha Chiron I believe is in resin not plastic, as is their Vision Bugatti. They both are lovely kerb side kits.
noelsmith Posted March 3, 2022 Author Report Posted March 3, 2022 Airfix have announced a Bugatti Chiron in a new series of little 1/43rd scale kits alongside two others, a Pagani and an E Type Jaguar.I Wish they had gone for 1/24th scale instead of these as proper kits and not like the Lego fit starter kits. Ironically they do a Veyron and Chiron as click together Lego like kits in 1/24th scale when the market is there for proper kits in this scale. Airfix must be the only mainstream kit manufacturer who have licences from VW Bugatti. It is noticeable that Revell and Tamiya in particular do not have a Veyron of Chiron in their catalogues.
