Gromit801
Has anyone ever produced details sets in 1/72 scale for the B-52D BUFF? Cockpit, tail gunner, bomb bay. Edited April 12, 2015 by Gromit801
VonL
There were some OOP resin sets (a.k.a. hens' teeth) by Cutting Edge & BuffMaster that have come and gone; mods for the exterior such as G/H engine nacelles, various ECM & EVS lumps & bumps, fuselage mods, etc. Cutting Edge (now defunct) published a bunch of expensive, but nice decals. BuffMaster made some ejection seats. A very long time ago, I used OK Models vac-form parts to modify a Monogram D-model into a -G. Never saw a comprehensive cockpit set for the BUFF. All of the detailed internals I've seen were wonderful scratchbuilds. Supposedly Lone Star Models have some 72nd BUFF stuff inbound this year. That I will be eager to see. vffokker
Buff master Design makes conversions for the 1/72 AMT monogram kit. I have a G and H set. They are every nice resin sets.
VonL
I've got a few BUFFmaster bits and they are nice: B-52 seats, H-model engines & G-model engines (to convert a late-H). Edited April 13, 2015 by VonL
