Ron Bell Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 This is the MMS white metal kit of a Morris CS8. I only added the windscreens and the props for the folding top, the rest is OOTB. It's a nice little kit, as are all MMS softskins, if a bit pricey. The 2 pdr. is the Zvezda kit. It can be built in firing or towing mode. I'm going to pick up another as I have a portee conversion in mind with a Ford truck I have on hand.
Mark Deliduka Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 Simply gorgeous! I love it! You may want to check your wheel alignment in front though. The passenger side wheel seems to be floating. Thanks for posting that, I love looking at armor and vehicles in this scale.
Ron Bell Posted January 13, 2014 Author Report Posted January 13, 2014 Mike, Thanks for the compliments. The wheels do appear to be floating, but that is due to the glass-like finish of the base. I put on many coats of polyurethane sanding each before the next. That resulted in a perfectly smooth surface. However, when viewed at an angle, the surface is hard to discern, so it can appear that things don't really "touch". Won't use it for any competitions, that's for sure.
