Hey gang,

Hortman FINALLY finishes a model!

All kidding aside, this is a many many multi-year project that is finally done. I'm making the time to take care of and finish up some of the dozens of projects I have started here. I'll post more as I get them done. I am trying to get one done a weekend.

Tamiya 1/35 M1A1 (first release) built OOB. Painted with Model Master Acryl "US Army/Marines Gulf" tan with some weathering. Probably not a contest winner, but it can now move from the pile to the display case!

Cheers!

Tim

Thanks Dick!

I think this was started even before I was RC2 (to give you an idea how long it's been in the languishing in the "pile")

Overall I am pleased with how it came out, but I am even happier that I actually finished something. :smiley20:

Thanks Jack - a kind word as always.

Doubt I will get to Pittsburgh - it's a haul and I don't have a ton of $$ these days.

You are correct - I DO need to get motivated to get some more of these things done!

Looks darn good to me. With you on backup of projects. I think I'm up to 8 or 9 now. Keep posting, its a motivator for the rest of us.

Thanks Chris, Gilbert!

I counted my "in-progress" kits a year or so ago, and came up with over 50 (I actually stopped counting at that point!)

It's NICE to end up getting a few off the pile and finally wrapped up.

Plus as a bonus - I'll have something to take to the contests I attend every year where I usually show up empty handed.
