Mark Aldrich Posted June 14, 2013 Report Posted June 14, 2013 OK......If you were a Syrian Mechanic and had the job of being responsible to possibly recover a mixture of WWII era Panzers, Shermans, T-34s, armored cars, and JS3s what would be some of the things you would want to have on your T34T recovery vehicle?
Mark Deliduka Posted June 14, 2013 Report Posted June 14, 2013 You mean besides tools? Okay, here's a few things I'm thinking of: Road wheels and track pieces. Possibly even a couple torsion bars. That way the vehicle could be towed if possible to a recovery site. Extra tow cables, engine parts to get some running that might be able to be fired up with some slight repairs; tarps for sun shades or holding parts; some 2x4's for leverage; maybe even a cooler or two for holding food and/or drinks. Maybe even a makeshift trailer attached to the rear to hold a lot of these items since there's such a huge variety of parts needed. That's all I can think of....
