      Hi Eric - thanks for the reply.  It seems that I am always on the back end of Journal delivery!  At least now I know that it may not have gotten lost by my 'stellar' postal service.  Have a nice Thanksgiving holiday.

    Mike, the resin of the Porsche kit looks superb - can't wait to see it done. As for the Austin, did you paint the chrome or just do a fine sanding until you hit white metal? Looks real good in any case.

    Hi all. Mike Stanley has made me aware of the IPMS Forum and I have to say that I cannot believe that I had never checked it out before today - very interesting stuff. I responded to Lee's post and then saw the many others, so . . . I just want to give a real sincere Thank You to the many kind posts regarding my XP-77 Journal article. It really is nice to know that the article was well received. I will try to keep up with Forum postings, so if anyone has any questions, I'll do my best to answer them. Again, thanks to all of you.     Hi Lee. Thanks for taking the time to contact me and let me know that you liked the XP-77 article in the journal. I have never been on the Forum before, but my buddy Mike Stanley sent me a link to all of the kind comments that were posted regarding the article. I hope that you enjoy your build as much as I did. The model is a bit of a challenge, but it is a cool looking plane to have on the old shelf. I usually build armor (1:72 of late) but took a break with the XP-77. I do enjoy building 1:48 aircraft, especially US/Allied WW2 subjects. Thanks again. Bart
