That’s why MBB (Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm) developed the F-104G CCV (Control-Configured-Vehicle). This fly-by-wire variant mounted an extra tail wing behind the cockpit and offered computer-controlled avionics. Today, the F-104G CCV can be seen at Germany’s Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung Koblenz. This Limited Edition kit features a canard with a resin vertical wing, fairings, sensors, metal pitot tube parts and three marking options: West German A.F. CCV, Code: 98 & 36 West German A.F.
