Decided to go ahead and git er done!! Well a few more pieces of bare metal foil around the window and I will be forced to call it finished. Ya see I've had the decals to the passenger side sitting with the kit (next to it) for the same amount of time the kit has been sitting there. Well, when I placed them in the water they disintegrated into 1000 tiny pieces almost instantly. So I will be displaying this one driver's side only. Still looks nice with the finished kits though.

I now spray decal top coat sealer onto old decals before I use them. This is the same stuff you use when creating decals on your printer to seal the inks. This minimizes if not eliminates the fractures. Just some thoughts: Perhaps someone has these decals in the same kit that he can scan into a computer and print a new sheet for you. You will need to be specific about the kit manufacturer and stock number to get the best match. Has this kit ever been reissued with newer printings of the old decals? We can get missing parts for many models, so why not see if the manufacturer can find you a replacement decal sheet? Sorry for your loss of a complete car model. Ed

Quality product and quick shipping. The decals are high quality and are not printed on an Alps printer. To my knowledge, all of his decals are done by Cartograf from Italy. Kevin

The kit isn't that old as it's the reissued Lindberg kit so didn't think I would have the issues I did with the decals, but hey live and learn.
