B-29 "miss Rapid City", 28th Bmw

Looking for any info on this airplane, especially tail number, buzz number, squadron assigned (77th, 717th or 718th BMS?) or any more pix. We've got just one pic that shows a crew standing in front of some righteous nose art - Vargas' Pistol Packin' Mama - in b/w. And that's it.

At the time of the pic, the base was probably still called Rapid City AAF or Weaver AFB. It was later renamed Ellsworth AFB after BGEN Ellsworth perished in a B-36 crash c.1953.

 

Any help appreciated here...I sense a model in the future...
