Mark Deliduka Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Well, this was a relatively fast little build. This is ACE's 1/72 scale sIG 33 Infantry gun. This took all of three days to assemble, paint and finish. And I was taking my time! Wow, that was fun. I think I'll build a few more of these ACE guns. I also completed a couple of aircraft which are posted in the Aircraft Forum. Feel free to check them out. Meanwhile, I also started two more armor models. Both were inspired by builds I'd seen on other Forums. This first one is the RPM 1/72 scale Staghound. Not much done on it, but I have to wait a bit before I go on: Next is a build I started because two other people were building these and I just got fired up to join them. This is Dragon's SdKfz 251 halftrack. Mine will have the Pak 36 mounted to it. The roadwheels and forward suspension are on, and the interior is started: Thanks for looking and comments are welcome. Stay tuned, more pics forthcoming....
ewahl Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Hi, Mark, Today in a LHS I came across some 1/72 armor kits they acquired from an estate. They are still shrink wrapped. If I recall correctly, they are PST kits from Balarus. All are of Russian (Soviet) subjects. If these may be of interest to you, let me know and I'll do better in checking them out. There are 5 different kits in the stash. There were no prices on them yet. The deceased modeler was into Russian subjects, so he has a number of 1/72 aircraft also. Ed

This does sound interesting to me. I'd like to know what he has first, as I have quite a few PST kits, including one I'm building now. I don't yet know when I'd be able to pay for them though; work has been extremely slow and my wife is facing the possibility of a layoff at one of her two jobs. Keep me posted and I'll see what I can do. Thanks for thinking of me.
