  1. Several F-16 aircraft have been painted with a similar type technological paint (radar dispersion & absorption) that are on the F-22 and F-35 jets. The issue is, it is nearly impossible to tell what base colors were used to make the paint. We have read that FS 36170 could be one of the base paints used - can anyone confirm that ? And if it is 2 tone, what is the other base color ? We know that the original F-16 colors (other than that used in aggressor squadrons) were painted in 2 or 3 tone schemes. Does anyone have knowledge that the same base colors were used for the "Have Glass" scheme ? If NOT the same base colors, anyone venture a guess as to the base colors used on the new paint jobs ? Once we get the information, we can develop the Radar Disp. paint for the F-16 using the same technology we have for the F-22 and F-35 paints. Any help would be appreciated in this project. 2. Tru-Color Paint is the first model paint company to release both F-22 paints in a simulated radar dispersion/absorption appearance on Oct. 2, 2017. These are designated as: TCP-1214 F-22 Radar Dispersion # 1 (based on Dark Compass Ghost Gray being the base color) TCP-1215 F-22 Radar Dispersion # 2 (based on Light Compass Ghost Gray being the base color) Both have the "metallic" effect already mixed into the paint which causes the painted surface to "sparkle" when viewed at different angles. Each paint is available in 1 oz. ($ 5.69) and 2 oz. ($ 10.25) size bottles from your favorite hobby shop, online store or direct from us. Similar products will be released for the F-35 in April, 2018 along with the first releases of colors for WWII U.S. aircraft with ANA numbers. If you would like to have more information about out product lines, please do not hesitate to ask for a flyer to be sent by regular mail or email. Looking forward to your comments and suggestions.
